UncaRay; 50's. Unmarried. Yankee. City professional who moved to the mountains to find inner peace in organic gardening. Fairly clueless. Hippy Billy; Age unknown. Born in Alaska. Addicted to cigarettes. Escaped cubicle monkey. Skilled in data entry.
CyberPat; Age irrelevant. Father of CyberSprout. Claims to be "Only visiting" this little world. Wields digital technology oddly advanced over that known to Homo Sapiens.
Moonchild; The woods around Smokytopia are populated by many strange and magical beings. Moonchild is one of them. Rumored to be Fanir's Daughter. No other information is available.
Persephone; Is she mysterious? Or just vacant? Fafnir; Telephone Repairman. Ex-Navy guy. Armed Libertarian who can quote the Constitution. Consort to The Goat Goddess.
Boom Boom Kitty; Heavily armed at all times. A crack shot. Filled with contempt for soft, weak, males. Poor impulse control. Another rumorecd daughter of Fafnir and The Goat Goddess.

CyberSprout; Lives in a dark gothic world of black and white values and dreary spiritless culture. The adults he tries to make contact with live behind walls of dull boredom, and rote thinking, determined to crush his budding spirit.

He is, in short, a teenager.
